Yeah, some nice touches on this page. The skulls in the bottom right panel didn't make it to the printed version - too flippant, obviously! Note the 'Nose' sign in the middle of the page (ref to Seth's Flowering Nose character). The top panel also has little portraits of each of Batman's gang - plus a toilet!

Yes, nice page. I think Townsend is the best ink of AA's work (aside from AA himself). He manages to preserve the quality of the art - which is what inking's all about, I guess!

I love this. It would be interesting to know more about it, and why Gil Kane is portrayed as being so neat, clean and orderly - and Will Eisner is the opposite - email me if you konw! Great piece, and a lovely example of Eisner's comic art mastery, I think.
