I have an Alvaro Mairani page from the episode 22, so was looking into this a little bit. The first episode of Una Donna Infernale was published in a 1947 issue of Luci del Luna Park. I can't see which issue from that year, and am unsure if episodes were released weekly, but this is more likely late 40s (possibly 1947/1948). ![]() A bit more puts this in 1948 (https://www.fantasmak.com/editions/Mairani.pdf) |

Earthshaker Pinball Backglass prelim pencils - Tim Elliott (Williams, 1989 Owner: Greg R. Comment posted on 6/9/2025

It might as well be the original art for the piece as there really isn't much that can be done to sharpen the details any more! ![]() These were likely the final/tight pencils, but there are a few changes that snuck into the final backglass art on the magazine, girl walking the dog, wavy steering wheel. |

Love this! Tony DeZuniga is the artist, right? ![]() Yes! There's at least a few more out there, all great. The game was an "ambitious" attempt at a fully 3d game, and it's interesting to see how these translated to the game (...didn't). |

Glad it found a new home! I had it for years and framed it up decently enough to show off. But then I had to let some things go, sadly... Enjoy it, it's really cool! ![]() Thanks-- it's great, I'm really happy with it! Thanks for letting it go! Now just to figure out where I'm allowed to hang it... |

You might be right as he's holding it with one hand meaning it's 12". OWL is a computational logic-based language first published in 2004. The W3C Web Ontology Language (OWL) is a Semantic Web language designed to represent rich and complex knowledge about things, groups of things, and relations between things. ![]() Mystery solved(ish)-- I traded emails with the artist, and this was *not* an Apple ad (as listed by HA), but actually done for a humor/satire book, making fun of liberal/left/tree-huggers (hence the owl), and this was back when using Macs was a bit of a signifier of that. That explains why the Mac doesn't exactly match the details on an actual computer (they way you'd think it would for an ad). Apparently there's a matching version for someone on the right, and I'm still not sure on the year... |

Interesting on OWL-- I have the vaguest recollection of that being a thing, but definitely seems like you could be on to something. The timing is right. |

Definitely before the first iphone 2007 as we see the pager and phone on the utility belt, and the laptop is a little too thick to be MBA 2008 and definitely not a clamshell 1999, so I would guess it falls into MacBook category in the year of 2006. ![]() I was thinking either that or a PowerBook G4, which could push it back as far as 2003. Details on the laptop aren't spot on for either, and I don't know what to make of the owl. |
