A masterpiece!

This Daniel Warren Johnson at his finest, from a cover-worthy composition to all the details, is as that floor of faces. 

This tells an entire story in an image. Lovely colors and composition. It makes my imagination go wild!

I hadn't quite considered the balance of the page from an inking and composition standpoint, but that's why we have friends smarter than us! Thank you for bringing it up--I have a whole new appreciation for this now. 

Totally agree--that panel stops you in your tracks. I was drawn to how loose and fluid the linework is...just look at that nose in the third panel!

There's a lot to enjoy here with Rossmo's panels bringing energy and pacing, but I've never seen DWJ be so minimalist in an interior before. I love it!

I hate to even say it, yet I have to because it definitely applies, but you should see how great that last panel looks in person... scans don't do it justice 😂 

I loved the big tank rolling through the city in the second panel, but ultimately understood why he went with his final take. 

I always worry I'm going to ruin the paper, but I do it for great people like you!

Is there anything better than edge to edge inks and filled borders? Makes the original feel like it's ready to be published. What a great piece though. The lighting is impeccable throughout, but I don't think I've ever seen anything as cool as those headlight flares so far from the car. SO COOL!

This has everything you could ever want from a Harren. Top tier piece. 

I bet there's nothing better than seeing that third panel in person.

That's a nice looking skull on Taskmaster. It's giving Mignola and Miller combined. 

A timeless rendition of Optimus for the most enduring Transformes series ever. 

Not only does Leinil tell some amazing stories, but his art is just otherworldly in person. Out of every original comic art pages I've seen, Leinil's work just looks so crisp and clean and textured that it's hard to imagine how it could be achieved. 

Looking back, it's so easy to see a superstar in the making. Love this page - it's like I can hear heavy metal playing in the background. 

One of the best at his best!

Amazing page! You could see DWJ making his star turn in the final two issues of Ghost Fleet, and this is an excellent example of it!

This page has all of the elements that we've come to associate with DWJ. Between the expressive inking, the pathos and emotion, and unparalleled storytelling, this is as good as it gets. 

This might be one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever seen. It belongs in a museum, but with the way your collection is going, I suppose it will The Gearon Gallery haha.

This piece is worth two comments from me lol. I just love how it seems that Cassara makes it a personal challenge to make a new "quintessential" image of his subjects when he tackles a cover or splash. Like he wants his work to be the new best example of a character that becomes the new go to image for articles, wikis, and more. This cover is certainly that good. 

No freaking way! A Ross?! Dude, museums will be fighting over that someday. Couldn't be happier for you. Nothing could ever represent your favorite character better than this.
