Deliciously evil looking taking pleasure and delight using torture in the Hellraiser hooks and chains manner!  Risso gets the mannerisms of the Cenobite right to cause nightmares.

So wicked with the theme that Dearmas nails.  I guess his own country has also been gripped by the age of misinformation and he's familiar with the hidden messages and distraction tactics to disguise the truth.  Here it is symbolized by the illustrative patterns obscuring the truth beneath.

The technique is amazing!  It loosk like scratchboard at first on the right, but then it wouldn't make sense for the left to be done that way as well.  Both require linework to carve in the shape and volume before even getting into the symbolism that the two sides represent. 

A very nice side profile illo showing that the dark imagination has consumed Lovecraft in thought. 

Drawn with an exactness and confidence to show the samurai at his most ruthless with the faceplate that represents a demon who enjoys the kill!  

A great collection of the weird and scary with Dearmas unflinchingly detailing every character to show what they add to the overall aesthetic and the weight of emotion.

From foreground to background, the art is line illustration to match the enormity of the presentation as they emerge from the subway to a devastated surface street of the city.

Visually striking design!  That tattoos work on her like tiger stripes with an intrcate pattern that made her instantly the breakout of the Tynion IV cyberpunk horror series.  Risso's interpretation brings even more punk into the design by using his notable black and white contrasts to accentuate the finer details!

Nice little skulls in his eyes!  This would have fit into the illustrations of the story's time period as a standalone image.

Quite magical with the energetic flow of illustrative lines.  The snout of the helmet looks like the spine of Sandman.  Great choice to have all this in a void showing how intensive the linework is. 

This is a great personification of what Moore was going for with his story.  It's just offbeat enough to show what a plant thinks is human and tries to get all the anatomy right.  Dearmas' level of linework gets every bit of muscle and sinew to make this look alive and pliable like real world schrubbery struggling to maintain this humanoid form.

Get that man a cover assignment already.  Every one of his pieces are like biblical illustration work.  The lines show angels and demons at war with just having the X-Men side drawn in that manner! 

Love it, cool piece melding the elements very nicely.

Amazing dark hellscape that is done in the classical paintings of the underworld.  Reminds one to be virtuous, lest you fall into the devil's clutches of sin.
