This is stunning, Alberto. In my head cannon this will be Hart and Cohle from True Detective season 1. That makes it even better.
We could all hang in your pool and discuss comic art while doing the backstroke!
What an amazing cover. And what a mountain you had to climb to get it. So proud of you for getting there!
Wow. An epic cover and what sounds like an epic story. Can't wait to hear it!
This is pretty insane. Congrats, James!
I'm trying my hardest, Alberto... But we can't all live up to your stellar standards.
lol I've never heard murder called "mowing the lawn" before. I have to live in Jersey a few more years to attain that level!
Ooh. This history I didn't know. Around what year was that? Steve charged me a little bit more than a thousand. I should get some money back.
You know...if you look it up you'll see that they're commonly referred to as the asparagus people. But I've always called them both. Can we get a definitive ruling here?
Also, I thought you were going to comment to tell me that some D'bari actually survived.
Wow. This is so original. I feel like we need a new category called original original art.
Insane. The art is insane and the journey even better. Congrats, E!
Or maybe this is the real cover and you're messing with all of us. Did you win the lottery, Jason? Would you tell us if you did?
Such a fantastic page. My favorite parts about it are: 1) I love how the bottom 2 panels are the same scene from the point of view facing Thanos and then from Mephisto's view behind his head. Perez knew how to be so cinematic. And 2) the dark spots in panel 2 showing the teleportation that just happened. Like a temporal disturbance.
It was also great seeing you, Riz!!!
Insane! This definitely ended up in the right collection.
What's there to say? You have one of the most visually recognizable pieces ever created in this medium. Pure history! Congrats, Amir!
Beautiful Manix and great analysis about recreations! I enjoyed and enjoy!
This is a joy to look at. It's amazing to think that a talented artist can take many shades of grey and create an image with such depth and background. And I had no idea that this was your favorite book!
She is thicccc. She'd toss you around like a pancake, Alberto. You can only dream.
This was the piece of the weekend!
I thought this was the deal of the auction. Glad you got it. Also, it was great meeting you!
I knew this was you before I saw it was you. I'm slightly jealous too!
This is just next level. There's nothing else to say. It pops off the page in a way that 99% of other art doesn't. I'm jealous. Congrats, James!
I'm also dated 1980!!!
And I'm old and deep too!!
Mikail, I think the universe is telling us something!!
Another fantastic addition!!
Hauntingly beautiful
Wow, Brian! This one is really special!
Every time you come up with something amazingly original AGAIN, I step on a puppy.
I'm not jealous of other people's art too often, but in this case I'm VERY jealous. Beautiful.
