Awesome pickup, Joe! Chris draws everyone well, but I think Ben Grimm is one of his very best characters.

The narration is just gripping, to say nothing of the art (which is even more arresting). This page just birthed an interest in Werewolf by Night for me.

So much to love here, but his shredded cape tells of a vicious battle, with the cape looking somewhere between claws and smoke. That balances the electricity and the brilliant negative space of the saber perfectly.

A great Venom gets the eyes and the teeth right. This has both exactly right. 

Dying to see one of these scratchboard pieces from 1602 in person sometime. The scan is gorgeous.

It's been so fun seeing Nick get his due lately with the success of Absolute Batman, and wonderful to see this page land with you. A huge scene in establishing who absolute Bruce is. I love the intercutting of the heavy bag with the lion.

Loved this one from the first time it was shared. Battle damaged Spidey, Spidey taking some time to recuperate... always a slice of what it's like to be Pete every day. 

The ability to dazzle even Reed Richards, who has seen things most people couldn't imagine... spectacular. 

Nice pickup! I'm a big fan of this era of Dike's work, where the backgrounds were painted inside the silhouette of the main figure on the piece. 

So glad the lettering is on the board- really makes sure the gag lands. And it's MJ, not Jackpot... not that there would be anything wrong with that. But I think we all prefer classic MJ. It's so good, man.

The episodes where the series dove into the Lich lore always took on a different tenor, and a suddenly dark and serious one. This piece captures his menace, while still maintaining an air of fun.

One of my favorite artists working today! My one complaint is there's not enough traditional originals out there from Ortega, so you've got a gem here!

What a phenomenal piece from James. From that era when he was wielding his mastery of screentone, and the concept is absolutely perfect.

Nick overdelivers on every commission request. I found myself wishing I'd gone for an EoW commission in addition to the one I got. This one is perfection.

It's not often you get half of the chest symbol and half of the back symbol in the same piece. Everyone else has already noted most of what I loved about the piece, but awesome to see it get the highlight today!

I see why this is in the top spot on your featured gallery order- such a visually striking character design, and executed perfectly here in black and white. Martin's colors always elevate the pieces he works on with Nick, but this one is perfect as-is.

This era didn't make me think "mercy" when it came to Cyclops... which is why this cover resonates so powerfully.

I remember opening this issue after the Wells run wrapped up and this DPS announcing that we were in a new era of Spidey- and it was gonna be fun! I really enjoyed this run. Excited to see what else you picked up from 8 Deaths!

I missed Toledano's lists with Inky Knuckles, but all his watercolor work is so vibrant. The depths of the blue and purple let the lighter blue space highlights and the metallic rendering on the Surfer shine.

This is perfection, and the FF movie release should bring a set of fresh eyes to appreciate it. Gorgeous work from Bergara.

The b&w is just as vibrant as the colors! I love Allred's work, but for some reason it's unusual to see him on Deadpool. Unusual, but awesome!

What an introduction to Diana and to the world of this story. Revisited the book this weekend and came to CAF to find this page. Just as cool as I imagined the black and white would be.

Rereading the series this weekend, and MAN, did this DPS stand out. The breadth of the Pegasus' wings, Nubia's stance... it reminds me of the phenomenal DPS in Beta Ray Bill, with Bill striding toward the sword at the end of issue 4. Awesome!
