Thanks. You're right about the Russian Space Dog thing, but in the origin story in my head, the monkey is American. There's a long backstory w/ the origin that to be honest, I'll probably never draw, but who knows. And Tony and I used to be in Gaijin studios together. So maybe that's where Tony started ripping my style off. Just kidding. I think we both are influenced by the same stuff.

Actually that's my drawing. I did the design for Adam back in the day as a favor. Adam then took this design and made it his own for the final cover.
