Chis is THE BEST artist drawing Star Wars IMHO...........his attention to detail and designs from the films themselves is amazing. I similarly read my copy of SOTME to tatters as well. To FINALLY see the story done was an absolute joy back in the 90's. I'm LOVING reading the notes on the sides of the pages............what a great batch of both Star Wars and Chris' incredible art.
I always dig when someone gets something he's never drawn before too!

Love all the little flourishes, particularly the wispy smoke coming off the floating Eye of Agamotto!!!
Gorgeous...the foreshortened arm and the way he did the fingers is brilliant....the locks of hair framing the piece are a great design choice!!!!!!!!!! Plus, i'm guessing the classic green costume from back in the day.............
This is absolutely one of my favorite pieces from Chris' entire run on the series to date..........fantastic pick up!
Man, I wish DarkHorse or SOMEBODY would reprint the whole Marvel run....I wanna see these again bad!!!!! Great selection of pages, Simonson and Colon killed on this book!
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed collecting this series back in the early 80's............I breaks my heart that the legal issues surrounding it pretty much preclude Bill from ever going back and re-exploring the characters...I sure wish a collection were available. Superheros in Seattle........it was like a pop up superhero universe from the very first issue that I could totally get into........ and did. Fun selection of pages!
Love this...I can hardly wait to see updates on its progress, GREAT selection of artists so far...you gotta get Sprouse to do one full sized figure though......he's to darn good for just the little guys!

I totayy dig this piece, that background is totally cool, the expression, gesture, billowing on the cape and sash......fantastic Strange art!
Absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!! Amazing piece, Chris is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!
NICE! Haven't seen this one before, we should be compiling these B/W pages and producing our own version of IDW's collected editions, as we're not likely to see it ever done with the Nauts' and distribute them on PDF's and keep adding to it over time as previously unseen pieces like this appear!............ great page, love seeing it sans the color!
That is a phenomenal piece! The detail in the car parts is unreal, i absolutely love the deformed nature of the whole composition, he has such an unreal gift to skew realistic things into stylized imagery, to be able to convey so much movement and action through a drawing is a special gift that Michael can pull off second to none........
Karza, Shadow Priests, Battle Cruisers, The Body Banks and a huge chunk of Homeworld floating overhead................ MIND BLOWN!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite non-Golden Micro piece.... EVER!!!!!!
OMG....... I LOVE this piece, the Battle Cruisers, the homeworld helix is brilliant AND shadow priests..... absolutely floored!
Great job coloring this piece....any chance you might post a bigger copy! I wanna use it as a desktop but the resolution is a little small....... also, the only note i'd make is that Polaris has light green leggings i believe, not flesh colored, other than that, freshness all around.
