I would have loved to own the final.  I spent countless hours reading and rereading the Conan book it was the cover to.  I was delusional enough to think I had a chance of getting it when it was up for auction, lol.

Is there more to the story about how you finally recieved it?

Wow, that's an interesting story.  Ive seen a few Ken Kelly cover recreations and this is the best one.

They are both good.  I would have been happy with any of the Norse Mythology covers.

I agree, I love the lady using the fly swatter.  It's surprisingly realistic in person. The characters pop off the canvas.

I love the whole Norse Mythology series.  Im so glad I got a cover myself.  I think we scored when he decided to hand color them.  I like them better than the published computer colored versions. 

I love that style. Ive been looking for a good piece for years and so glad he colored it.  As I purchased this last year, he said these were his last pieces, he's retiring.  I hope he didn't mean it.

Damn, what can I saw other than its awesome.  I collect Mars Attacks art and would love this one.  I remember laughing when I first saw this card.
