That white-out effect merging the claws, tank top and fist is a genius artistic decision. It raises an already great picture to a whole next level of awesomeness.

Yeah! I never would have thought of that, and he makes it work.

Made my top 10 list for Best Of.  Killer piece!

That's awesome! I hope DC gives her a Bat cover one of these days.

What design and execution by Wolf, it's a stunning cover image with lots of cosmic ramen!  The big star work well with a cover logo!

"Cosmic ramen" is perfect.

Great choice, and fun to see how Romero approached the remarque. I have a couple APs I need to scan and post, too.

The way they colored it almost monochromatic means the black and white original has to be spot on with clear storytelling.

Truth. Storytelling aside, as far as art goes the black and white is so much more dynamic to me. A lot of the great contrast here gets lost in the colors.

The design and the font work really well together to achieve the Riegel retro movie poster look.

Agreed, it's always a treat to see how he incorporates text. I like the color balance between 'The Scumbag" and the smoke.

Master of perspective and foreshortening in twisting anatomy!  Neal never ceases to amaze.  I don't think any other artist would dare try something so ambitious.

Yeah, this is such an unusual but cool pose. I love the face he gave this Joker as well.

Hi, I'm Plenty.

But of course you are.

Plenty O'Toole.

Named after your father perhaps?

Arguably the best line. Connery's deadpan is hiiiiiilarious.
