Awesome page, setting up that first big action sequence. Fernandez really nailed the military precision of the team's movements here. Love it.
Couldn't agree more, prelims are an awesome collecting approach. Particualrly when high end artists are doing A-list characters like we have here. Great get, congrats!
Venom lurking in the shadows, looking so badass. Has a vibe like he is stalking, about to strike. Or like you just rounded a corner & saw something you absolutely were not meant to see... An "oh sh!t, is that a murderous villain?" moment if ever there was one. Congrats!
How does this amazing team shot have no comments yet!?!
So good. Who needs ink with pencils this well done!
Fun recreation! That cornerbox steals the show for me, love it.
There's nothing like a great X-team shot and this one sure hits the mark! Lots to like here but Archangel & Fantomex in particular stand out to me. Great cover, congrats.
What a great series. Some of the best X-Force art of that period, Dell-Otto's style was such a perfect match for that iteration of the team. Love it. Congrats!
This is such a fun cover, loving the Maverlized patriotism here! As for your questions:
This is awesome looking, congrats!
How did I miss this the last time I took a stroll through your amazing collection! Not only an iconic character but for us kids of the 80s, Voltron (and Star Blazers) was the Speed Racer of our older brother's generation. Right up there with GI Joe and Transformers, Voltron was must see tv for this kid!
An absolute standout, amongst the many gems in your Bagley collection. A classic cover, from an especially historic period of the title. So darn cool!
Corinthian columns, I see what you did there 😂
Beautiful piece, love the architectural detail.
That's awesome. I'm really digging Humberto's take on the FF, great cover. Congrats!
Great piece and well said. It's tough to see these legendary creators go but its comforting to see how many they inspired to follow in their footsteps.
Excellent piece from a tremendous period. That stretch of Kyle/Yost & Remender is my favorite X-Run ever.
It don't get much cooler than that, Bill. What a great piece, congrats.
I was always fan of the Marvel characters suiting up on covers/pages but had never seen a cool Batman one before. The spotlight style logo centered is just killer too.
The year being on it was definitely a plus for me too.
After purchasing I came to realize that it's not unique. It seems like someone found a box & gave Ron a pen 🤣. For just a few bucks, it's still fun though.
I saw Nightcrawler's tail but skipped right over him!
Very cool cover!
Before reading your spoiler list: Thought I saw a Red Hulk.
After reading your list: Juggernaut? Had no clue that was Blob. Never would have spotted the Eye of Doom either.
But what I really can't figure out is why Reed is wrapped around the bunch of them. Is The Thing tying them up with Reed?
Never thought Frank could ever look more bad ass & intimidating than in his regular duds. I stand corrected. The Punisher may no longer be a strong enough name for this iteration, he's almost a Terminator in that suit! But The Punishator doesn't sound marketable. Kill Dead has a nice ring to it, is that taken?
Wow a very King Leonidas looking baddie, I'm digging it. Spidey appears to have his hands full. Love everything Ramos did here, an instant favorite for sure.
That's awesome! Merry Christmas to you & yours!
Well worth the wait! Love the juxtaposition of presenting Venom in a traditional Spidey pose. Very cool.
Wow! While I've seen some vitruvian man homages before, I don't recall having seen one where multiple versions of a character were incorported & overlayed in the pose. This is fantastic, such a unique take on the design. So very cool. Congrats!
Awesome gag payoff, what a cool piece. Really digging the framing as well. Love incorporating the corner.
That top panel is pretty bad ass. And there is no such thing as too much love for GI Joe & the Transfomers, keep those descriptions coming!
That week was bananas! The 4 PJ shows, the Phillies in the World Series, Halloween and a SEPTA strike (no trains or busses) to boot. The last cover was good too Star Spangled Banner, Hendrix style. Good memories.
What that man could accomplish with 15 minutes and a pen... Oh my stars and garters!
I never saw DEVO but I did see Pearl Jam close the Spectrum in Philly, on Halloween. There was a ton of crazy stuff going on that day but near the top of the list was PJ coming out for an encore dressed in the hats and playing Whip It. As a first generation MTV kid, DEVO will forever hold a special place in my heart! Really unique piece, very cool gift. Congrats!
Very cool! Really digging the minimalist background, so Spidey pops even more. Excellent web swinging pose too. Congrats!
A clever concept, elegantly brought to life, I love everything about this. Congrats!
Excellent Bagley wall crawling. Always a fan of the inverted window peak and he did it so well.
