AWESOME PAGE!!! Love the variety of vantage points, and that middle tier of panels are killer!

Thanks classic Buscema/Sinnott Thing. I'm so happy to finally own this page.

Pretty fun third panel with The Thing doing the Crumb Keep On Truckin'!

Ha! Didn't think of that. Big foot forward.

Ultra-Classic FF page.  My three favorite parts:

1) Sinnott's inking of Ben's rockiness

2) That BIG foot in panel three

3) I love it when the editor's miss things; Panel five, "I'm struck -- to some kinda super-thick webbing!"

Agree on all three. NOBODY inked the Thing better than Joe S. I remember seeing an issue of FF Annual and Chic Stone had inked John B and I was like "What's going on here?"

thanks. I have wanted this one for a long time. From a run of FF that basically introduced me to comics.

It looks like a lot of Sal Buscema inking taking over for the antagonist with big points of impact and motion lines.

Yeah it looks more Buscema than Frenz

Great sequential example from the run!  I'm still looking for one myself.  Congrats on this and the whole batch you just posted!

Thanks I had a chance to buy the entire story for about $100 a page but that was more money than I had. I guess we all have stories like that.

This issue has a very weird past. There are posts about it on the CGC board and maybe here somewhere. Steve fell in love with John's pencils and refused to ink them or return them. This page is lightboxed on non-marvel paper. Tony D had to go to Steve's house and threaten him. I guess it burned some bridges for Steve. I believe no actual pages from this issue have surfaced, but all were redrawn after the delay by Steve.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing this.

Great page- they should have used it!!!

You know I compared to the printed book and the changes were very minor. I don't know why they didn't.
