This issue has a very weird past. There are posts about it on the CGC board and maybe here somewhere. Steve fell in love with John's pencils and refused to ink them or return them. This page is lightboxed on non-marvel paper. Tony D had to go to Steve's house and threaten him. I guess it burned some bridges for Steve. I believe no actual pages from this issue have surfaced, but all were redrawn after the delay by Steve. Interesting. Thanks for sharing this. |
