Superb!  That's some top shelf lo-fi art.  Love the textures, angles, and concept.  Great mix of realism and graphic design.  BTW, about 15 years ago, a good buddy of mine (who's also a great artist, coincidentally) came by my place with a friend of his named Peter I didn't know after they had spent the day at the demolition derby.  We had a couple beers and hung out for a while, which was a lot of fun, and Peter mentioned that he played bass for the Mountain Goats, but I didn't know who they were at that time lol.  Afterwards, I bought a bunch of their albums and got into their sound.  So my introduction to the band was right in my living room.

Could not be said any better in regards to the art. Wow! Is there a better introduction to a band? That is fantastic.

Color choice is great here and we get some hand lettering! So many techniques that come together every single time. Whatever bubble gum filled core this Batman is made of, I would gladly like a piece. "Double your Cankor, Double your fun!"

He is channeling Kirby here, but then you have the wild color palette! Harren continues to push the envelope here and I love it. The scan does not do it justice either. Glad I got to see this puppy up close!
