I remember when I first saw this page in print....I made an audible gasp when I turned the page! When I clicked on the link and saw the page in your gallery I made the same exact sound....after more than 20 some odd years that image still gets the same reaction out of me!! I'd heard about Alex Toth's passing so I decided to search ComicArtFans to take a look at some of his work and get a sort of "retrospective" look at his career! And sure enough my buddy Lamb has an amazing piece by Mr. Toth that for me just captures the look and feel of his art/animation perfectly! This piece really brings back a lot of great childhood memories! Thanks To Mr. Toth for helping define animation art for my generation! and thanks to Lambert for sharing!
I really enjoyed New Frontiers! ...and when I was reading issue #6 and turned the page to see this beautiful 2 page splash it literally took my breathe away! I remember the audible sound of me inhaling with excitement upon seeing this...that hasn't happened to me very often when reading comics and I have been a fan for 25 years!!! You are very lucky to have this one!....if you ever decide (for some absolutely insane reason) that you want to part with it...I WANT IT!!!!
