I recently redrew this image and called it Leaping Batman. It's technically a better drawing but it lost a lot of the power that is present in this drawing. Funny story, I drew this while I was on a Walt Simonson marathon of drawings, so i drew this Batman in his style. Someone challenged me to add buildings, the bat-signal and to color it too! With his help, i was able to turn one of my ugliest drawings into a strong colored piece that I sold at a convention. The man that made that suggestion? Rob Granito! True story!
Glad you noticed that, Kevin! That's an homage to Ed Hannigan, who would do that kind of stuff all the time on Marvel comics of the late 70's and early 80's. I'm thinking about incorporating the lettering and logo into my art more often, just to see if I can pull it off. Javier
Hopefully I can hire someone to do it justice. When I do, I'll post her here for sure! Thanks for your comment! Javier

This is a tremendous display of comic artistry by Gaijin Studios. I can't believe I'm the first to comment on this piece.
Awesome drawing! Don't recall seeing this one posted on DW, but I haven't checked it in a few days. I love your style, bery polished, classic yet modern. You work always looks great colored. Keep up the awesome work!
