Really cool how Elvin added the bike like classic iterations of the character!  Thise fishnet effects are just as powerful in getting our attention as the Canary cry!

You nailed it Marcus so many little things going on that compliment the piece entirely.

What up, Duane? It turned out beautifully! Iver the last few years, Tom has been doing his con sketches in more of a simplified, almost animation style where it's basically the figure outlines but pretty bare with minimal work inside the lines. While they are still nice, I prefer more rendering inside the lines and this one has that in spades! Great fishnet work and nice rendering of the jacket, boots and torso. Topped off with the typical cutesy Grummett face, you really scored!

Thank you Ruben I was thrilled when I saw how it turned out as you said I did see others on his table not as detailed which is understandable given the time he has for these but he definitely knocked this one out of the park she's a keeper for sure!

Great dollfaced beauty!  The hair do and the make up style suggest a throwback to her JLA days!

I could not agree more and could not be happier in how she turned out.

My highest recommendation for CAF Live Picks!  I'll be asking for it in the chat.  When Manix does a large single figure like this, it has a pure essence of what the character represents!  Black Canary is super strong and power using her powers with those colors radiating cutting through that bright red background.  It probably cracked and caved the pavement under her.  Also very Dinah is very beautiful from the low cut top, fishnets, and long hair.  The humor comes from the Manix faces that come out of the Beetlejuice claymation aesthetic with the bulging eyes and gap teeth that are so out there.

Thanks Marcus I already asked to be placed on the list so I can get a Green Arrow companion piece for this. I was thinking of him wincing having his ears covered by his trick arrows or something would be a fun idea. I know Manix can bring his own wonderful twist to that.

The widescreen panels are great with the black fill in between.  They blend in with the shadows within that connect to the border.  It makes it look like the darkness is taking a bite into each panel.

I totally agree, especially when it all focuses on the last panel you do get the sense (no pun intended) with the focus on Spideys eyes dripping from the boarder.

I unexpectedly guffawed out loud at the last two panels as I was instantly transported to a different kingdom, long ago...
