The symbol was all Caitlin. I actually had to go look it up and found out it is the "Crest of Alderaan", representing the royal monarchy of the planet. I thought it was a cool touch.

Glad you like it! I asked Adam to draw "his favorite Superman character" and he paused and then just said "Ok" and started to draw. I had no idea who it was at first because he started with the oven mit. As it became clear he looked at me and said, "That's right, you get Ma' Kent!". It was one of the highlights of that SDCC!
