Something I won´t ever understand. Has the guy who requested the commission pre payed a amount and when it was finished he said "oh no, thats nothing for me... keep the money, I just don´t want it"?

Thank you Shelton. Yes, his works are amazing. Sadly there is not much on the market. Unfortunately, many of his works have probably been lost due to his early death, as he probably kept some works in external storage units, which were then dissolved. I am therefore all the more pleased to have received some of his works :)

In my eyes, Embleton is extremely undervalued. His work is almost as detailed as that of Angus McBride. He was a great artist and most of his work is also quite large. I am happy to own some of them :)

He did a lot of history book illustrations. As I was told this pieces for Rubin Miniatures are very early works from the 60s. There are about 25 around.
