Thanks! Still amazed even 20 years later i own this, Granted I traded for most of the value of this page, but knowing what i know now I would have gone back and bought as many FM and Mazz born again pages I could.  Could never have imagined it would be worth 20X what i paid for it.

That's a nice one. I love when he adds all the color pencil texture lines into the form. THis is a great example fo that. 

You know I never realized the Neil and Bill influence on Tex till this image, and now I can't unsee it. Not a bad thing though, Tex always made the work his own. WHat a great cover and iconic interpretation of MK. Congrats.

Man did he crush this one! You can see he was really into this one, besides the delicacy of the face its all the added details in the gun and the trees. When I think your Mystique collection can't get much better, you find another artist who levels it up. What a stunner, congrats.( and yes I am both a biased fan and collector of NIcks work haha)

When I see pages like this, it makes me sad that Guy left comics. He made the quite moments so great to look at. Another great add to your Davis collection.

Thanks, yeah Guy's use of zip especially on Marquis is better than anyone else in the biz. When his commission listed opened up I knew I had to ask if he would break out the zip again. He did not dissappoint, and usually the yellowing would bum me out but it adds and even cooler demension to the piece. ( you can see it in the extra images )

The delicacy and glow on this one is stunning. I agree Bret is very underrated. Congrats.

Nice to see you kept your Batman Focus for 2025 haha. This Samnee though is a stand out in your 2025 collection. Could have easily been a cover for his current book.

Ending the year with a bang for sure. Great Tex page, and SO much nicer in black and white. The color did not add anything to Mark's subtle shading and mood. Great pick up Congrats

This is a fantastic pic up, and thanks for the nice big scan. The pic on ebay was just too small. I love seeing all that cut and paste process, and what a great story, being able to get DWJ on the phone. Talk about serindipity! Congrats.

He draws like an animator and gives every character personality. I love that impressionistic feel to the bottom panel and he he conveyed movement. He elevates comics to art

Suprised there are no comments on this one. Micheluzzi is so underrated in most of the world, which is a shame, his storytelling even in these quite moments is so good. Love those last few panels. And if I recall this was set in Switzelrand too! I found it interesting that Micheluzzi moved Petra to so many cities all over Europe, and he captured them all so well, especailly when there was not google image or earth to easily grab references.

Poor Agusto, all he wanted to to was help her escape. The concequences of war. Perfect example of Micheluzzi's Petra. Great storytelling, sound effects and spot blacks. 

After reading all the Petra stories, this one where she is lost in the mountains was the most memorable and a real gem in the collection. Glad to see it in Black and white as the color didn't add a lot to it. He was such a master of spot blacks.

WOW- that on is stunning. She is really crushing these commissions. This is one of the best ones I have seen from her in a long time.

Right! Pinky out "Art"  kind of crazy how affordable some etchings are by world famous historical artists. I have had to stop myself from bidding on too many but this one was an easy pull the trigger and what's more crazy is no one bid on it but me! 

Congrats, and great podcast with Felix. I can't believe this page just dissappeared for years. One with Batman and Carrie would IMO have always been desirable. Now if you could only get a scan and slip the print into our Aritst Editions!

Oooo that is one of the best Demon Bear Commission I have seen. Love all that texture he put into this one, has a throwback to his 80's acrylic work. Nice add to the collection.

This is definitely a blue line. I have several Mignola blue lines from iron wolf painted by Richmond Lewis of Batman year one fame. Personally I love this technique and much nicer than computer coloring. Slower for sure but adds something special to the finish and then there is an original to hand up and enjoy. Beautiful page, congrats on the add. 

Don't get a much better Marv page than that. The Blam panel alone is pure gold. IMO the art on hard goodbye is still the best of all the Sin Ciry books. Congrats. 

Another nice add to your DWJ sketch collection and IMO a nice upgrade to the ones you already had. I like that he added the crest on the kimono, like toth says edit it all out but what you have left draw the hell out of it. DWJ did just that. 

Not just one but 2 DWJ Usagi pices in one post. Both are great but I love this battle damge one. Even in a calm moment DWJ adds so much energy into his brushwork. Congrats.

I like that CAF has really evolved to just Art fans, cause in the end it is all art anyway. I can see why you were attracted to this one but others not. The bold shapes are like an ink drawing, and it has a bit of a crudeness to the painting (not a bad thing and probably what makes it devisive,but it adds to the charm) and it is all about that eye. I also like the little nicks in the hat. Congrats!

Well if you are going to have one Hellboy page can't go worng with a splash and Tentacles!! Congras on such a stunner.

That's a beauty. Paul didn't do many color pieces but what he did do were great. Shame he doesn't colore more of his comics, cause IMO he is the best for his work. No one has really quite  fit with his style.
