Good ol' Swarmie. He's the bees' knees! Honestly, he was pretty creepy in Mantlo & Byrne's Champions.
Looking back on it now, it was certainly a very 70s costume design but, honestly, I loved it then and I love it now. And Keith Pollard is not only a superb (and, yes, undervalued) artist but a heck of a nice guy as well.
Not to be confused with The Rattler from the Spider-Man daily strip that Romita Sr. did.
