I don't know if I've ever seen Gambit without his head gear before. He looks so different from what I'm used to here. Always a pleasure to see the "cards being thrown at the reader" trope and Rogue looks so demure and lovely. The Ulitmate Universe had a lot of redesigns on the classic costumes. If memory serves me correctly, I don't believe that Gambit ever had a "costume" in the Ultimate universe as a result. Just the trench coat and the bo staff. |

I don't recognize anyone here, but at least none of them is Harrison Ford! The female Jedi and her minions are characters in the story that die at the end !spoiler! The guy in bondage is Cade Skywalker who is the descendent of Luke. Set several years after the Battle of Yavin it allowed for new stories to be told with a nod to the past and not bound to it. Unlike the prequels where you already knew who would die or not. Something Disney should have done with episodes 7,8,9. If you read the expanded universe novels it was filled with nods and characters from them. |
