I got this Wolverine Remarque really early in my OA collecting career. I don't get many Remarques nowadays. I was really into them back then. Today, there is only a handful of artists I would still get one from, given the chance. Adam Kubert is one of those. I'm really glad I did. This Wolvy Profile Sketch is really nice!

So, the book is from 2001 and produced by Panini Germany. It was Remarqued & Signed by Adam Kubert at the October 2022 CGC In-house Private Signing. It's not encapsulated because it was Rejected for Encapsulation due to Overhang on the outer cover. Apparently, none of the Museum Editions produced by Panini (there are French and German ones) can not be Slabbed. Since the Signature and Remarque were both done in CGC's presence and Witnessed, there is still a CGC Certification Number! I thought that was pretty cool. 

The Posca Paint Pens that Kubert used as the base layer of the Remarque really makes it pop and stand out! It's a very detailed Profile Sketch of Wolverine!

I LOVE Mike McKone's Spidey. His lines are just so clean. His colors are also so rich. You can tell he takes his time and definitely puts multiple layers on for just the right amount. The clouds effect for the background make it even better (if that is even possible).

I bet this piece looks even more amazing in person. Those colors have to pop! I've been reading the Brand New Day Era of Amazing Spider-Man recently. McKone's interiors stand out. They were great. I wish he would do Spidey Interiors again. 🕸🕸🕸

This turned out to be a great Commission. I gotta say, I'm a little peanut butter & jealous! I have a McKone Spidey, but it's only Pencils. With a lot of artists, you can tell the difference in their Pencils and Inked art. For my Pencils, it's just as good as the Inks, but only in Pencil. Congrats again on this piece! It's a wall-hanger, for sure! 🫡

I love it! For a 5x7" Headshot Sketch, these are soo fire. Congrats on yours. Zeck definitely took his time on all 100 he did. Mine is #23 and also a Punisher, but front-facing. I really appreciate he signed these with his Studio Sig sig.

Dexter Vines sure did an AMAZING job (see what I did there?) Inking Steve McNiven on the first 3 issues of Brand New Day as well as this iconic cover.

I LOVE it! And the rain! I am a sucker for rain. It just does something to the scenery! Plus, it's got the US Flag also!

I met and spoke with Dan (DG) Chichester at Indiana Comic-Con last month. We both shared which OA Pages we own from the series. When I showed him my Pencils & Inks Pages, I mentioned the paneled 1/3 page Splashes and how I've never seen an artist do that before, and it's genius! He agreed. He said his script didn't call for it. Netho just did it. It works really well as a reader, because we are used to going left to right...so it literally forces us to take in each "panel" of the Splash. BRILLIANT! I'm looking forward to continuing to watch Netho Diaz's career grow!

This is GLORIOUS! I love how he added the red to it to more resemble the original piece. I did something similar with Dave Dorman on the Preliminary Pencils (before Paint) of his Vader Down One-shot Cover for Loot Crate. Dorman added color to the red & green laser beams. Damn! This is sooooo freaking cool. How hard is it to get these 2.5" by 3.5" Sketch Cards encapsulated by PSA?? I'm not really a big sketch card person, but encapsulated,  these look SO nice! It gives a new perspective & feel to them. 👏 Well done.

I'm so so sorry. You can reach out to Paolo and ask if he would be willing do a recreation of it? Even lightbox it to be exactly the same since it seems the Original is gone. Obviously, it would be listed as a recreation somewhere on it (I assume... I do not have any recreations). Once again, my condolences go out to you. 🙏 

Also, what has FedEx even said about them losing it? I pray the insurance process is not a pain.

Thanks! It definitely is. The first meeting of Spidey & Eddie Brock since he became King In Black. I almost got the next page (I still think I should have), but it had a blank panel re-using the previous panel on it. I am really happy with this as it is! I wonder where the pencils are though!? Scott Hanna is such an amazing inker!

I LOVE it! Congrats on the great pick-up! You'd be amazed at how much of collection has become Donny Cates as well. I never got into Grading until October 2020 and I took a break at ASM #802 until August 2020. I decided to break out of my habit of only collecting ASM in my pullbox, and man am I glad I did! I've got 9 series currently in rotation on top of now collecting Omnibuses, Signed & Graded Slabs, and Original Artwork!

It amazes me how much of my Slab collection is Donny Cates work! Venom, Thanos, Silver Surfer Black, his current Hulk Series, and now lately VANISH! I'm glad I stumbled upon your Gallery!

I just recently spoke to Beatty about adding his signature to my SDCC Zeck AE Hardcover! Definitely an awesome piece. When I saw it compared to the Final piece, it made me wonder why Marvel made the call for it to be more zoomed in. I'm sure it had to do with the artwork being printed at 69% size to be comic book sized. I actually just packed this piece up to be shipped out to the new owner. It sold on Sunday on eBay! I know they are going to love it as much as I have owning it! The little details are fabulous: the ring on Storm, the Black Panther armband on T'Challa, and if you look closer, you can see Mayhew's name written in the lightning above Ororo's head!

I need to work on updating my CAF gallery more often than once every 6 months.

I wish I could say I've met him. This was through his CGC In-house Signing in Spring 2021. It was only $40 more than Eastman's Graded Signature cost to get his Remarque.

Now this is truly a gem! 💎 I just read him and Palmiotti's Punisher Marvel Knights 2001 series.

It truly is! It's my only Zeck Sketch, and for that I feel lucky. I didn't get into Sketches until last year. I was messaging with John Beatty last month about if he would be down with signing it, since he did most of Zeck's inking in this book. I also wanted to make sure first before lugging this GIANT 12x17" book to a Convention. I'd like to have him embellish this Punisher Sketch. I think it would really complement the book! That's my plan.

Exactly. That's why I don't want to touch the pencils & leave them as they are. This pencilwork is SO detailed. Any full figure (or bust / torso) commissioned from McKone nowadays at shows are both pencil and ink. AND color if you so choose. It's just an idea. Plus it wouldn't cost the whole kit & kaboodle. The hard part & groundwork is already laid.

Thanks! You just reminded me I forgot to finish this upload and add the 2nd photo of it with the CGC case! I really love the hatching and shading he did on this Venom piece. The Carnage went up for auction 1st, and I got it. Then the Venom did about half an hour later, and I just knew I had to get it as the matching piece for the pair!
