Steve Willis is a mainstay of the underground minicomix movement. He attended college with Matt Groening, Charles Burns and Lynda Barry. His Morty Comix series are all one of a kind originals and he has recently surpassed issue #10,000. (No, that's not a typo.)
That's a Caniff original. The unique lettering by Shel Dorf is a dead give away.
I should probably hunt for some of these in the back issue bins next time I go to a comic book convention! (And, no, I'm not referencing some lame joke about hunting dogs.)
Hey! Tht middle drawing is by me, Bruce Chrislip. As far as I know, it was drawn at a Cartoonists Northwest meeting in Seattle in the early 1990s . I'm curious how it made its way to you.

Always loved Gene Colan's work, with the Colan/Palmer Dr. Strange pages being my favorites. Back in the 1970s, I almost got to meet Gene. We invited him to be a guest at one of our OhioCon comic book conventions but time committments got in the way.
