Haha, I'll keep that in mind. Your Matteo Scalera Psylocke commission is equally impressive, especially since he doesn't do color commissions anymore!

WOW. Jim's take on the X-Men will forever reign supreme for 90s kids like me, so seeing him draw them again at this stage of his career is such a treat. Congratulations on this gorgeous addition to your collection; I hope to follow suit someday with a X-Men commission of my own!

The original design of the bookplate had a rectangle in which Art was supposed to do these remarques. However, in true Art fashion, he went above and beyond for many of them and drew past the borders by using white-out/white marker on the lines of the box (and part of Deadpool), although sometimes you can still see what was originally underneath like this one.

Love your theory! Part of me also wonders if his decision to put her up front had something to do with a brief mention I made about being Asian American (like Ethan and Jubilee).

It's also hilarious that Jean Grey is dead center. She was so useless in this series, lol.

I asked Art for Psylocke or Chun-Li for my NYCC commission. When I saw his Instagram post of all of his NYCC commissions, I thought for sure this was mine, haha. Gorgeous piece!
