This cover was my first exposure to Yungbluth's work, and WOW, did it make an impression. The sheer aucadity of what I was seeing (in a Salvation Army of all places) simply floored me.
Not only is the cover the height of audacity, the first page even mocks the reader for thinking the cover was just to grab attention, and then proceeds to follow through with what it promised.
It's so strange to see how Winick draws Juniper Lee today, 20 years after the show premiered.

Ah, I was going to get this issue from Jim Amash, but by the time I decided to check the cost, it was sold. Nice to see it went to a good home.

I was a tad surprised Tracy Yardley was willing to do it, since it was technically another artists work, but I think it was okay because it was never finished by ABT.

The biggest risk is honestly if the character you choose doesn't mesh well with the chosen artists style.
If there was one piece of Rugrats strip art to own, it would be this one. Possibly the best in the entire run.
Agreed. It's a good look for her, & SP//DR really shows the mecha influence with this design.
The quality level of his work is amazing. This wouldn't look out of place for a Spiderverse cover, or for a Peni-cetric series.

He's skilled at what he does, no doubt. Pity that pages inked by him are so elusive. I'd like to see more of them.
I think it's a sign of good storytelling when you can recognize what's going on with minimal or no dialogue.
