Very smooth pencils!  JRJR's Spidey is a must for collectors and this one is the 3/4 head shot that emphasizes facial expression that shows through from under the mask.

But I actually met him in person when he was in London some years ago to promote a screening of one of his short films he was producing. I was travelling in the UK and made it a priority to go see his appearance/the screening. He was sitting in the back of the theater and someone asked if he'd sign their copy of Watchmen and he very politely explained that he doesn't even have a copy of the book in his house - he feels fairly pained over his mistreatment by DC.

The way the ballpoint pen is done shows the constant motion of it to find the face of Skeletor and lift it out onto the paper surface.

Pretty elfen features on the ears, eyes, and slight waif like delicate features done in the light and soft lines.

Yes, that is very true. And it's been the case for some years now. I got my copy of Voice of the Fire signed to me when I met him and personally, I love that book, so I don't mind. Think about this: back in the day, he probably signed a whack load of things and people are always selling them online but nowadays, you're getting something that not as many people are reading so in a way, it's more personal and special.

I think the idea is that he and Snoopy have switched places through some sort of universe warp. There are lots of Moore signed items on eBay. Unfortunately, he never leaves the UK and rarely ventures away from Northampton so you'd have to take a major trip if you wanted to get something signed in person. 

yeah, this particular image, from what I understand, it's Maxwell waking up on Snoopy's dog house. Can I ask where you got it? Do you have any other cool stuff by Moore?

Creepy movie design that made the threat of the Riddler even greater as an anonymous everyman bent on destruction.

Classic samurai imagery!  The crimson red sun used to frame the figure and double as the nation's flag.

Great that he keeps the big jaw and the big symbol even in the simplified sketch.
