That is basically the description of the type of comic art I like! =)
Oh yes the poor thing was something of a background character.
I think he should do more of everything everwhere! =D I had never heard of him before last Lucca and that's a pity!
Ah yes, the expression and body language fit the character so well!
Oh yes that would fit his expression [I'm about to rip your guts out] very well.
Funny you should mention that! =D Yesterday we were going over the parts and considering dropping in a couple of sub‑micro rotary servos, an Arduino Nano, etc... Mechanising the shoulder and the eyes. It would be pushing the space inside a bit but it would be doable I think. I might actually go that way!
Ahaha thank you! =D Happy 2026 to you too!
Ahaha… admittedly this possibility had no occurred to me! 😁
Absolutely, I've seen several of the pages of this book up-close and the colours and textures definitely stand out.
I had a similar idea, so I had some fun laying it on an LCD panel! =D
After which he shall dive for a crowd-surf, squishing what's left of said evil beings.
I love the halo! Funny enough I've never actually asked for a halo but many artists who have illustrated Morpheus for me, have given him some kind of halo: the moon, the sun, his hair….
True, and the palette was entirely the artist's choice! =)
Yes, Frezzato really had a way with crayons. =)
Ahaha I don't think his Dylan Dog ever looks as grave as this! =)
Yes, there's definitely a sense of gravity to the image that I believe I've also seen in other works by this artist. Thanks! =)
Yes, though I'm not quite sure what this one's trying to accomplish! 😆
The first time I saw the piece I thought the wings were protecting the figure against flames! It still feels a little like that to me.
Yes the colours really breathe life into it!
Oh wow! That is absolutely glorious! 🤩
Exactly, it seems as though he packed a few stories in every inch of it! =D
Oh I don't know, I'd definitely visit the mushrooms! =D
Ahaha Usagi doesn't stand a chance! =D I mean look at those murder mittens!
Blade on fire is always a win for me! =D
Ahaha that would be interesting. Come to think of it, the closest I've come to seeing something like this in the real world was last year in May, when due to a massive solar storm we ended up with northern lights here in Switzerland, and as a result [and truly opportune timing] on the top of the alps we could see the aurora in the foreground and the milky way in the background.
Oh sure, Jill Thompson's "At Death's Door" was a great proof of concept for that. =)
I know right? I looked at the details and thought it must have taken a thousand hours. Then I asked him and apparently it took a day. =)
He's done a wonderful job of all the 6 issues of this I've seen so far!
