Haberlin continues to show his mastery of many different art styles. Known primarily as a computer artist, he has flexed his artistic muscles into oil, watercolor, pen and ink, and gouache. This is an excellent example of the artistically mature Haberlin...

I think my next effort will be a sultry.....Princess Python !! (And if you remember her, you're old....like me !)
Would love to see this gem professionally colored in a realistic style without drowning out the beautiful inking.....
Maikowsky's work has always looked like John Buscema with a little George Tuska thrown in to me. His characters have weight. The key to his layouts is visual impact, not necessarily an homage to strict anatomy. I would posit that was Kirby's 60s key to his layouts too. Congratulations on owning this stunner !
A very elegant illustration of what a Superwoman would look like. Armstrong at his best !
A beautiful effort in the classic 60s style. Would love to see this gem computer colored.
How do you draw movement on a two dimensional piece of paper? How do you draw force? The King revolutionized the industry with his answers to these questions. The result was his bravura penciling style. Representational art at its finest !!
Agreed. But beware the beckoning legs of....the Enchantress !!
Incredible watercolor by Rude !!
Over the last 4 years, her work has gone from great to breathtaking. This gem is no exception.
One of the finest examples I've seen of ink wash on Comicartfans in a long time.....
If you look at the detail picture provided, you can see the wonderful detail Olivia provides. This rewards the viewer for looking closer,
If you want to study how to properly use dramatic blacks in illustrative art, George Wunder's work on Terry and the Pirates should be the first place you start. Thanks for sharing these 3 great dailies !
Really a great concept. Would have loved to have seen what Lee and Kirby would have done with this title. The art is great too. Overall, a wonderful commission that you should be very proud of.
What a great idea ! She needs to absorb a planet's energy to feed her beautiful posterior ??!!
Would love to see Ordway or Breeding ink this gem. Congrats on owning this !
I always thought that Fairchild was 17 years old. So you've captured that transition stage from young maiden to young woman very well. A wonderful rendition !
Such a beautiful piece !! Congratulations on owning this gem !!
Jack Kirby and John Buscema held Tuska in the highest esteem. What more needs to be said? This is just a beautiful page...
Romita said Colan was an illustrator in a comic book body. And this pulse pounding pic (as Stan would say} just verifies Jazzy Johnny's artful opinion. Congratulations on having this gem in your collection !
This piece absolutely captures the essence of thos first Jonny Quest tv shows. They ran at 6:30 PM in Chicago on Mondays, if my memory serves me correctly. Never missed an episode.
Frame this one and proudly display it in your home. Congratulations !
After Kirby left, Big John became the Marvel house style. His consistency was his greatest asset. From 1966 to 1996 when he retired, you picked up a Buscema book because he was the artist. If a comic book artist's #1 job is to make sales, Big John never disapointed. As Stan would say : Nuff Said !
One of Romita Sr's greatest illustrations of his legendary career. Talk about the "Big O" page design, this one is the ultimate example. Start at Spidey's webbed up clothes and let your eye read all the word balloons around the page, with the Spider Man figure dead center. Stan invented the usage of word balloons as a story dynamic, not just to convey the script. Just a classic Marvel 1960s page that is still great 60 years later !
Anytime you can get a Fastner and Larson painting, you don't ask questions. You buy ! What a great and fun piece. Congratulations on owning this gem !!
Unbelievable piece for marker art !!
Congratulations on owning this tremendous piece !!
Very much reminds me of Boris and Julie. What a superb piece to own. Congratulations !
Power Girl's uniform always rips in eye catching spots. Would love to see this inked and colored. Congrats on owning this gem !
An incredible effort by my late friend Gene and inked very well by Frank. Gene had enough from Shooter and Byrne. This page shows he still had his artistic powers well in hand. Bravo to you for owning this gem !!
