Love that symbol floating on its own as Jimenez uses negative space below the headshot.

Von Randal quickens the pulse with the shot from Clayface's POV!  The tonal art is pulls you in with depth to focus on Batman's dynamism.

This is exactly why Superman brought Batman and Robin along so they can deal with all the kryptonite threats.  Another action and emotion fueled page by Mora!

Worley's colors are awesome!  The reddish hues from the lighting on the side from below adds much more dimension and definition to the heroic stature of Batman. 

Really nice how the cape turns into the night skies!  As always, Bianchi blends technical realism and the fantastical. 

Truly a badass commission. Batsy looking over his city just itching for someone to screw up lol. Congrats! 

Love the way Man-bat is drawn! 

Look at those Batwings on the top!  They are smoother than velvet or silk!  I bet Di Meo knew they were going to cover it up with the logo, but like the rest of this cover, he still went ahead and finished it with the finest polish possible.

Love this panel and the comic. You've gotten me to go reread this masterpiece!

Love that low flat design of the batmobile to match the low profile wide panel establishing shot.  The rest of the wide shots are all centered to get our focus into the characterization of Batman and Robin and finally Nora Fries who has her big hair on each side.

Like a family portrait!  Should be framed in a oval frame with the slight sepia color tone to make this resemble an old photo.

What a different technique to depict the dynamic duo. Nice pickup! 

Nice to see the published Derington art as it is done in bolder manner than his commissions.

Very cool over the thirsty water color paper!  This didn't need too much color and the razor like scratches for the rain is cutting into Batman causing even more battle damage.

These action sequences in 2018 were a great reminder of how Tony Daniel was so instrumental in writing and artwork a decade before on Batman before the New 52.

The Olivetti paintings are all great in showing the human form at peak condition!  Batman is ripped and bulging with power! 

Finch launched this New 52 title to great acclaim!  This was superstar artist on blockbuster book that everyone checked out!

It's a very stong cover.  Great tension in the pose.  The bats rain and buildings are very striking as well.

All the majesty of Kirby's grand cosmic opera with Jimbo's illustration excellence!  The size is particularly impressive to overwhelm the senses!

Wonderful first panel to set up the action where Freddie Williams II uses Batman to hand off the storytelling and camera shots over to the villains' part of the story. 

Leave it to Mora to make every splash look like a full sized poster you can pull out to display!

A nice Scooby Gang styled image with the flashlights looking for clues in the spooky darkness!

I stared at this page for a while in Dan's portfolio because of WW's armor but couldn't pick it up.  Great action splash page though, so congrats on picking this up!

It'd be just as cool if we didn't see any of the horde and we just got these badass poses!

Dan Mora is very Neal Adams inspired here.  Has some similarities to Batman 251, but it mostly takes the foreshortening to make the emotions extend beyond the plane of the cover.

Morpho Mite's appearance is very cool! 

I'm playing this duo if they ever make DC Mario Kart!

This is a job for Supermen!  They blast off like rockets!  Batman gets to relax this time.

Thes Kingdom Come versions are always armored up and aggressively looking for war!  Mora does it so well to show everyone in their fighting mode!

Mora builds a complex cover with ease bringing superhero dynamic into play!  From the foreground to the back, it looks like Mora staged this like a film director with action figures first. 

Bats and Supes in KC verse? That can't be good...for the KC verse. Hehe. Congrats!

You have a Jim Lee influence in the poses to get the most iconic feel for the duo!  Mora's touch makes both Superman and Batman very majestic with the capes flared out and overlookign the city below.
