There's some really great Kirby/Stone art in this Annual. I remember this page when I was a kid. To me one of top Thing vs Doom brief tussles. And Panel 5 always stuck with me. I always loved the love/hate dialogue between Ben and Victor. Comical and suspenseful at the same time. Congrats!
Great Monster page.Ditko really made the astronaut pop out. You can feel the fear in his facial expression. Compliments of Kirby/Ditko magic!

Awesome title Splash page Bret. Christopher Rule was a great inker, but there was some eerie electricity going on in some of his inking. Not this page though. Congrats!

The best page in the story. Didn't Dave Schwartz have this page and another great page that you bought from him? I saw them both. Either you showed them to me or he did. One of my favorite Thor villians. You can feel the energy off this page. Jack Kirby and Chic Stone the best.

Well let me tell you Bret I've seen this up close and it's awesome.The ominous energy and feeling coming off Kirby and Ditko Monster Art brings me back to my childhood. It didn't scare me it was like Godzilla and all the monsters in the movies that I thought were cool. You want more and they delivered so many.We all have our favorites. Fin Fang Foom was mine. Before Marvel I was reading Star Spangled War Stories, Gorgo and Metal Men That super duo, Andru and Esposito. Then I saw Magnus Robot Fighter. Wow. Russ Manning one of the Greats. Okay who has all the Leeja pages ha.ha.
Leaving Machine Man's ghost of his father out of the panel's and focusing on Aaron was classic Kirby genuis. Literally directing his break down toward the camera. Us. And then a glimpse of his father in the background and then the realzation that his human father really cared and displaying a human emotion of a son. I sing the body electric. .Great page Bret. I'm glad you kept this one.
It was amazing. Meeting and going to the Kirbys house was actually more fun sometimes than buying the artwork. Congrats Bret! they sure were good times. And also thanks to Mike too!
The absorbing Man, The Grey Gargoyle, Cobra and Hyde and Ulik. Those were some of my favorites. I truly enjoyed those when I was a kid. And when Odin was pissed off at Thor his timing was impeccable to strip Thor of his power at the wrong time when Thor needed his Godly powers the most. And of course the back stories Unforgettable Thor giving his life for Sif and Hela sparing him. Classic line to the absorbing Man "Silence thou voice is offensive to mine ears" When Crusher Creel said I should be beating you. Congrats!
