You might be confusing this with the Jack Kirby's Heroes and Villians (Black Magic Edition) book where inkers used a lightbox to ink Kirby's pencil drawings on separate art board.� The Fourth World Gallery, which this was part of, was new art inspired by Kirby's work, but not directly based on Kirby drawings.

Thank you for your input! I can't see any pencil markings and underneath certain areas, it looks as it if there are printed bluelines underneath. You might certainly be right. I hope so! I reached out to Tom himself and asked if it was or not. Hopefully he gets back to me.
