I always wondered why Chuckles was so beloved by fans while only reading the main ARAH series and seeing his sporadic appearances.  I guess you've explained it!

Fun modern era of ARAH!  This storyline is one of the top Hama has done in Skybound, IDW, and Marvel featuring all out war in the different factions using Springfield as the battleground.

The new revamped GIJOE ARAH under skybound is well worth a read for old school Hama storytelling!  He still makes these personal relationships the core of the book.  With that said, it's cool that a rare sheep in comics appearance inspired you to get a piece from this title.

Wow!  Baroness is all class from head to toe!

Pretty cool widescreen movie style storyboarding to the script.  We can see the notations on the left on each panel to tie images with the storytelling.

It gives us an extra bonus of artwork that very likely could have been used to keep the perspective and sight lines intact when the figures are so isolated in the panel.

Much more brutal and high stakes than before!  People always wondered why Cobra and Joes always had parachutes, well now there are real stakes at play!

Really nice display of ther Cobra hardware that we'll come to love through the toys and cartoon!  Having them in comic art form is glorious!

Back in the 80's, the Red Sox were still cursed and always the underdog which made us root for them and Cutter.

Beautiful and the process images are super addition.

Extra hand is cool!  You can say it flew off the page after Snake sliced it off someone!

Very cool page that typifies the Hama written GI Joe stories!  A deployment of specialists with varying personalities all working towards one goal.  Unlike the cartoon or the current series, the focus is spread around with characters that represent all corners of the USA. 

It reminds me of the early issues of the Marvel series where they had to establish the hidden base to sell some playsets!  These are some great upgrades to that old base/playset. 

Such a great layout!  The panel at the top with the shotgun blast kicks everything into gear!

Snake's in the first and last panel of this page!  HISS tanks were cool as that's military hardware that wasn't based on anything in real life.

Very cool early IDW issue art!  Padilla was essential to make this continuation of Hama's writing, fully bought in by the fans!

Very rare as we see a fully finished GI Joe work by Gallant!  The ninja on the tile rooftops is a classic trope of martial arts theater!
