The drawing is on a 1948 first day cover stamped envelope. The stamp and envelope is from 1948. The drawing later in life. Like when they saw the artist at random, thats what they had for him to sign and draw on.
It is still in the book. In time I will actually cut it out of the book to be framed. I frame everything. No point leaving it in a book. I actually will film myself cutting it out of the book and save the book as well. For these type pieces of artwork, it's not really changing the value. I dont really care about the book. I'd rather see sketch on the wall being appreciated. Glad you got to see this today. That's what it's all about to Me. I appreciate You.
