That first panel is a classic pose. i said in the last page that it made me certain that Felicity is the sexiest woman in the DC universe. I saw the reactions of those patrons as affirmation of my belief. :-) Yes, having Felicity frame the image with her legs in shadow makes her look so mysterious and alluring.
I'm amused by her reaction in the second panel in hindsight. I believe back in the 1980's comic book companies still had to appear "moral". So I suspect that they had her call the patrons "jerks" to show that this sex business is indeed "bad". Years later when i discovered "Omaha" I was struck by the contrast: Omaha enjoyed being an exotic dancer and had no inherent bad feelings to her audience. And it is kind of hypocritical: these patrons are jerks, but DC is still hoping straight male comic book fans buy this comic to look at Felicity for the same reason.
I wasn't familiar with the previous issues that featured "Mung". So he was a new character. Yeah, they have him stare at Felicity in all his ugly glory, more monster than human, hinting that he may be a menace.
No surprise the tabby bartender's wearing panties. If this was a Vertigo comic, this would be a topless bar. She's a feline looker, herself, thanks to Dan.
There is an odd contrast how the males all have very catlike heads, but the women have humanlike heads with modest cat attributes like harelips and ears. Maybe the male heads needed a more anthropomorphic design.
See the previous page. "Tom's Scratching Post". "Omega Men" was notorious for having puns that made you think of Earth, even though the comic is set in an alien star system (Vega) light years away.
Felicity has such a cute face in the second panel. :-) I said elsewhere that I thought Felicity was DC Comics' sexiest woman. But I specifically mean Dan Spiegle's version in this comic. I also like Keith Giffen's version in her earliest appearances, Todd McFarlane's version in "Invasion", and how she looked in that one "Teen Titans Spotlight" issue. But for most of the "Omeg Men" run she was drawn with a very "catlike" face. Particulary a big pink muzzle. I don't mean to badmouth the artists, but I'm afraid that version made her look hideous.
I understand furry fans who'd complain that Felicity looks too humanlike here. Omaha has a better design in terms of looking catlike. But I like how Felicity's face still suggests a feline motif. Her cat ears are prominent. She has very cute freckles that suggest whiskers. And what I like the most is her harelip. Her harelip definitely makes me think of a cat's face. Now of course a harelip in humans can be a crippling deformity. But Felicity's harelip looks so natural on her.
I was perusing through comics when I stumbled on Felicity's entry in "Who's Who in the DC Universe". And lightning struck me. :-) This page of course is the Money Shot, where she has the same stage outfit as in the Guide. The Guide convinced me that Felicity was the sexiest woman in the entire DC Universe, and this page affirmed my judgement. Speigel poses her as a towering figure, with the measures of a Greek Goddess. Her white fur enforces her statuesque look here. Yeah, she's really well endowed here. But all her features contribute to her sex appeal. I love her muscular arms and legs. And wide spanning hair frames her physique.
