Never would have thought to commission Frany to homage a James Jean cover, but it works beautifully.  Her style works really well with the dreamlike quality of the original cover, and it's also able to stand on its own merit even without the homage.  Congrats!

Surprisingly, I haven't seen many of Byrne's X-Men recreations show up on CAF lately, but this is one of his biggest ones.  Love the hand-drawn logos/head shots, and he managed to fit in his own touches to make this feel like more of an epic piece.  I actually picked up one of his few interior page recreations, and while I'd love a Byrne/Austin original, it's also a far more affordable way of owning a Byrne X-Men Phoenix Saga page.  Congrats on the pickup!

Rogue's face makes me think that Thibert inked this page (she looks more like how I've seen in his inks rather than Jim's or Scott's), but congrats on the pickup!

Heritage had it attributed to the wrong issue, so I wouldn't be surprised if they got the inker wrong too.  I don't know Matthew Ryan's inks well, but it did look more like Tim's inks (though not quite), which at least matches the stamp.  Either way, there are some great shots of Storm here, especially that top one with her face hidden in shadows.  Congrats on the pickup!

Inspired commission choice!  I feel like I've seen a couple other commissions of Death cosplaying as another character, and it's a fun take.  Also love the suble nod to the Fables #1 cover (assuming it was one of the references).  Congrats!

I only noticed Butch Guice through his later Marvel work with Ed Brubaker but really appreciated his linework (but somehow never tried to chase down his older work... might have to rectify that now).  This is just a perfectly rendered page from the hair, the folds in the clothing, the shading, the body language, and the expressions on their faces.  Huge congrats on the pickup!

It's pretty awesome you got to spend time with James in the early days before his career took off.  I agree that his painted/mixed media pieces look more interesting than his sketches (not that I've ever seen any of his originals in person), and congrats on getting to pick up something you've been chasing after for so long!

I feel weird commenting since I own two pages (and love them) with Snow White wearing this dress, but I love the idea of having Mark's take on it.  Lan Medina did a great job with it, but a Mark Buckingham version of the first arc is an interesting Fables "what if".  Congrats on completing your Fables dream commission!  And the scene isn't complete with the floor design, so glad to see Mark worked it in.

Beautiful J Scott Campbell Spidey cover!  One of the missed opportunities in comics is never getting to see his run on Spider-Man, and his covers tease what could have been.  Also love the tiger Easter egg.  Huge congrats!

Technically, you still don't have a volume 1 FF cover- this was from volume 3 (they reverted to the original numbering again for issue 500 during volume 3, but the Heroes Reborn volume 2 stuff still counts).  But that doesn't change the fact it's a great Cheung FF cover, so congrats!
