A lot of people can remember there first comic... unfortunately I cannot, but this was one of the few in my collection that I wrote my name on when I was little. The scratchy "Steve" on my comic makes me smile as does this wonderful original cover art! CONGRATS!!!
Byrne's greatness really shines through in this mini series. There is so much raw energy in this strong page... Hitler has met his match. It's also the kind of page I love, one that can stand on its own as a one page story. CONGRATS!!!

Joe, you're a lucky man to get to hang out with these artistic giants back in comics glory days! What a wonderful first sketch from the great John Byrne. I met John a couple of times at several cons and everytime he was nice and very engaging... our hobby is full of great memories, I'm sure you have had your fair share of memories to accompany these gems!

Oh man what a treat this morning to wake up and see these unused pages to Elsewhen! I wish they would have made the cut. I like the playfulness of this page and of course love the Byrne artwork. The silly costume earned a chuckle from me. CONGRATS!!

I think it could have been the art checklist in the back of the Art of John Byrne that made me aware of this magazine, I was floored when I finally found that issue and opened it up to see that amazing art in glorious black and white. Byrne/Austin really announced their arrival in a big way. CONGRATS!!!
