Thank you for your comment. Kresse was one of the best realistic comic artist in the world. He was famous for the Eric de Noorman series and various comic stories about Native Americans (North American Indians). And many more comics. He was also an illustrator. Yes, Kresse's Vidocq is the same character as Eugène François Vidocq.
