As a kid reading comics, I was all about the buccaneer boots! Cap, Hawkeye and Cyclops! Interesting seeing Byrne's early inking, with very thin lines around the boots. His later inking wielded a thicker line overall. Congrats on this vintage X-ample!

I've had my own experiences with so-called experts trying to spread false rumors about pieces I have owned without anything facts, just their opinions, which were incorrect. Eric, I had asked Neal to draw this soon after Seaver had passed away in 2020, and revisiting this piece recently with newly added colors makes me appreciate it even more. 

Ruben, the seam I'm referring to is on her backside (a polite way of saying her butt), not down her spine. Her costume seam does wrap around her behind.

I had commissioned Andy to do a Hellboy piece for me back in 2006, when he informed me thatt he had already done one Hellboy piece already, which was this one. He sent me a signed print of this piece which I still have. My commission was just as detailed, and I was so impressed that I gave him a down payment for 2 other commissions, one being an Alien piece. Sadly, he never delivered on them and I had to chase him for 6 years before getting refunded my down payments after threatening him with legal action. But congrats on this detailed piece.

From one Big Willingham Elementals fan to another, Congrats! I also met Bill in 1986 at a local Long Island Comic Show and got my first con sketch from him then. I asked for Ratman from the series, and I think he was charging $25 back then. I still have the piece, it's in my gallery. 

Neal loved to draw the forced perspective that few or no one else could execute effectitively. Congrats on an exceptional piece!
