Sorry, wrong Morrison, will edit to Grant.
Great example towards the complete story !
Hey Nick, years ago I was a minority share holder in an art collection that had 6 or so of these #255 pages (I even remember Byrne's page note to Stern about his "more than pencils" rate on this issue). While I really wanted one page for my share - as an X-Men collector I took the last page to Miller's Wolvie #4 instead. Gook Luck on the Best of!
This key cover is certainly in a good home. Good luck for the best of 2025
My favorite JR JR Uncanny issue art! - which is also the only Uncanny story art worked on by his dad - JR SR... and it is better than my own example!
Kieth did very little X-Men title work, so this is a great pickup!
Glad to give it a vote!
Fellow X-Men fan
Nice art combo pickup.
My Loss, I was tracking this one but a new puppy distraction pulled me away from the computer during bidding.
Best,
Rich
Thanks, I did also post both Magik sketch cards by Joshua and Chuck P.
This is a great cover and scene! Best wishes on more pages to come.
A great, key Batman series cover by a rare artist!
What a great piece! I think many, like me, first saw it in GS X-Men #2.
Best,
Rich D.
Great page! One of the rare Dark Phoenix examples. I owed it twice, but I don't think there will be a third time! Best, Rich
It took a long time for the 106 pages to publically hit the market, and Gene, you got a nice selection of the art ! Plus, after seeing the larger scans, the Dave Cockrum art touches can be seen over several of the Brown pages- like the Storm face in panel 3 here. Dave did work mainly on the Storm and Nightcrawler heads. Rich
Wow, I have not seen this cover in years! Nice to have this great cover from the Steve Ditko dedicated Warlock story on display!
This is a great page from the Ultron intro storyline. One of the two prime Avengers villains !
Hi Jack, I sent you an email about your Krazy Kat art, but your email address bounced back- jackgilbert@mac.com Could you email me? Rich coollinesart@aol.com
Long time since I last saw this cover (18 years?). Glad to see this grail piece found a perminent home.
Great seeing this posted. A piece to be proud of. I followed this EC issue auction at Russ's. I could not compete for the Wood cover back then, which was still a big price, but I did get this issues' Wood story and still have the splash.
A proud addition to your collection. It's nice to have a Buscema 1960s Surfer cover. They are not freed up much any longer.
A nice Superman cover... Neal's Batman covers get the glory, but Neal did a great run of Supes covers too, but only two stories. Best, Rich
The best Kirby Sentinal page I've seen. Glad it is in a good home! Now if I can find pages from #1, #14, #18, #19... Best, Rich D.
