Thank you! Thrilled to have the page, Wonderful work from Mr. Patton.
It really is! I don't think Mt. Patton gets nearly enough credit for his work in these backup stories.
Thank you! I was going off of the auction record. I will look into it and update accordingly.
It really is so 90s, right in my wheelhouse.
None of the really negative aspects of Liefeld's work that people often glom onto here. Very fun page. And I do love MCP in general. Thanks!
They really don't pop up that often at all. But oddly, Liefleld isn't the reason I got ths page. Silver Sable all the way. Generally more a character or a story based collector than a creator based one (with certain exceptions). Thanks!
Such an 80s-90s vibe. Not his first appearance but I think his 2nd. Really enjoyed this series. Lots of odd and/or forgotten characters pop up.
Its a really fun story. The evil doctor is named Dr. Lovecraft for pete's sake!
This issue is just stacked with deep cuts. Space Turnip? Come on. The writer knew their history.
Infantino is an artist you can always spot. His work stands out and was great for a story like this, with classic characters! Glad to see there are other DC Challenge fans out there.
Thanks! No one of note on the page, villains that never showed up again. But I love it.
At the time I originally read the series, I had no idea who they were. It was a MASK series which was awesome. Once I grew up and looked back, I was thrilled.
Thanks! Was thrilled to meet him in person and buy this directly from him. I really do love his style.
Thank you so much! I loved this book when it came out and it remains a favourite. Need to see if there is a collected edition. So under rated,
Lofty is correct. I do not expect this to ever happen, but I must at least try. Thank you!
Thanks! Haven't had much worthy of posting lately, so it felt good to finally get something up! Need to go through my portfolios and see if there is anything else interesting to post.
Alas, I do not. Pretty sure i used the image from the auction I bought it from. Had it for a while now.
My sincere apologies. It has been fixed.
Thanks! I am amazed I don't see more of his work out there.
Thank you for your help! Title has been updated.
Thanks! I am thrilled to own any page from that series, so this holds a place on honour in my collection.
Thanks! How often do you get to see those two characters on the same page? Seems like a no-brainer to me.
I had this poster on my wall. Jealousy, thy name is me.
I was a big fan of the series. It used humour rather well and never took itself too seriously, although I do think it strayed a bit in the 2nd year of the series. Gil only did one issue of the series, so I thought this would be my chance to own a page of his that mattered to me, and that I could actually afford.
Thank you very much! I really do like the Herb Trimpe run on Marvel Team Up, so these are fun to own.
Thanks! I actually posted this with you in mind. Your response to my online query got em thinking. Thanks again!
Thanks! I thought this was a very fun book so I just had to pick up the cover.
Awesome. I would like to hit a con in the UK one of the years. Silver Sable is one of my favourite characters so I am quite jealous. A great find!
This is a great piece. Where did you manage to pick it up?
There have been a few questions as to how I know this was in fact a Gray Morrow page. Comics.org credits this story to him if that helps at all. http://www.comics.org/issue/224719/
I really enjoyed his work on the series and I really got into it when Warren Ellis took over the writing. At the very end, the art got terrible, agreed.
This was an ebay purchase many moons ago, so I do not know which creator it came from I am afraid.
Great page featuring one of my favorites! The Creeper! Well done!
My pleasure! Not only does it have the Griffin, but also Lesiure Suit Wondy! A double shot of awesome.
Thank you very much! I really enjoyed this series in this was a great addition to the collection. I was alway partial to Charlie and Nikki's relationship myself, but there you go.
Thank you very much! Got this from Geof in person not that long ago, so I just had to post it.
Thanks! I am somewhat ashamed to say that I wasn't that famailiar with Grummett's work when I met him at a Con. Never collected Superboy. But when I saw this page, I just had to have it.
Thanks guys! I enjoyed the series quite thoroughly in the begining, but it seemed to loose its way, which no doubt contributed to its demise.
Thanks! I have been looking for a Dresden page for a while now, and a cover is much better! Love the books, so this seemed natural. BTW: Do you know if these are all done on top of photo copied blue lines, or is there pencil underneath?
Thanks! How could one not like Mindless ones doing a number from Westside Story?
This is truely a fun page. I am actually trying to rebuild this issue. Marvel Team-Up was the first series I collected and this is the first issue I ever owned. Its the series that got me collecting. I own 3 pages from it already, so if you ever decide to sell, please let me know. Thank you, and a wonderful find! Well done.
