Curious, has George ever drawn DC death before?

This is one of George's better marker pieces, and I think most of his pieces are really good. So this is outstanding.

I'll agree with you there. His commissions are better than I've ever seen them. It was interesting to hear him say that when ever he draws Donna now, he draws her with his neice's Mila's face.

Finally, that explains it. I have never understood why out of all the characters that George draws, Donna, no longer looks like Donna. It's really bothered me. With Games, you could see (on the new work) that he still could draw Donna looking like Donna, so why did the majority of his convention pieces look so different?

After a quick search, you're right !!! :) This framing sequence is penciled AND inked by Perez 8) That's a great bonus ! Thank you Mark.

No Problem I can almost always spot what's been inked by Perez (no one really can match his type of line work).

Loved the framing of this issue. But I thought George did the inking of the framing sequence. It really doesn't look like Tanghals inks.

The very first page of the Avengers I ever read, and my first exposure to my favorite comic book artist of all time, gentlemen George. Took three more years before I was able to read the first part of this story.

This piece is inked by Perez, not Bob (who did most of that issue). You can tell by the different look to the line art.

While I don't care that much for Ion's Body movement, I just love, love Perez's Mon-el. Especially in that panel, just love him.
