Hi Lars, Beautiful cover -- wonder who owns the original. The identical artwork appears on both the UK and US editions, with the British version having a darker, blue-grey cast (and sharper image) and the later American printing sporting a somewhat greenish hue. The familiar open-book device appears on the UK cover, while the US design, in keeping with the Sidney Miller-era revision introduced in 1961, places the issue number and price inside the yellow Classics Illustrated banner. The UK title lettering is black; the US, red. --Bill
