I have never seen a Lance Sunday original artwork either. But I remember Carl Horak may  have had one years and years ago. I wonder where all that original artwork is as well.  Dennis

Unless something has changed between now and then, one person does not want it to be published. I just know that Chales Pelto has tried to do my story and he was met with one roadblock after anorther. I wrote this person and he did not want it published unless he did it. That is months ago. It is a shame that a university has scans of almost the total run and no one is doing anything about it. Some of the stories were on Amazon but I understand they have been taken down. Maybe someone can break through the crap that is holding everything up.  Dennis

I have read that story three or four times. Charles Pelto of Classic Comics Press wants to publish this one story but he has run into problems getting it done. Some do not want to see it in a book. I would let  him borrow that story to scan the whole thing but every avenue he has tried has been met with issues relating to who own the rights to publish it. There is a university that has scans for almost the entire CD run. So, the material is there to publish all of it, but no one on the other side can seem to agree to let it be done.

I have never seen but one Lance daily and I know someone on the CAF has one. That is it. Where is all his original artwork on Lance??  Someone really has a wonderful pile of artwork sitting somewhere.  Dennis

Thank you for that comment. It is a beautiful illustration. One of Grindberg's best. I love the story Thomas did and Grindberg's artwork. Dark Horse messed  up not letterin them do graphic novels on Conan and Tarzan. Just crazy.

I was lucky to get Thomas' scripts for that story and they read like a new Tarzan novel.

Grindberg and Roy Thomas were supposed to do a grahic Conan novel with Dark Horse after the Tarzan story they did. But Dark Horse backed out at the last minute. There were some unhappy people when Dark Horse did that.
