Thanks, Tom! I wish I'd kept more of mine! I'm always happy to grab one here and there if I can...especially if they're cheap! :)
Thanks, Ray...my home is very glad to have him!
Cool! I think Dan did a nice job on it.
I had to check whether I actually inked this or not. :) I hadn't seen this before...was the coloring done on top of the original art? It looks cool to me!

I always think of him as "Berni" so it always feels a little weird to add the extra "e" to his first name!
I love Bernie's B & W linework, but I also really love his wash work. It's amazing how much richer the original looks, too - the printed version was great, but you don't get the warm tones of the original. This one reminds me a lot of his work on "Jenifer" in CREEPY #63.
I feel ya, David! I had tried for pages from "Jenifer" and "The Black Cat," but they just went too high for me. I was very grateful to squeak through on this one!
Thanks, Marc - I appreciate the comments. I used a very similar process on page 4 of this story. I just posted it, so you might enjoy checking that one out, too!
For some reason, I'm particularly drawn to Woody's art in late 60s, early 70s - his work for Warren and Marvel in particular. I love his E.C. stuff, but I think there's something just perfect about his later, more streamlined work.
