The day I get from Alfonso my Death Dealer painting, told me he was finishing a commission of The Spirit. I was dying to see his version of the character and I supose this one is. It's a very funny and nice piece. Congratulations Thorsten.

El propio Victor me explicó que quería hacer algo tipo álbum y en vez de trabajar las páginas enteras hacerlo a base de tiras. De ahí ese formato.

Me alegro de que te guste :) Una curiosidad: este dibujo es en color gracias a Simon Bisley. Cuando llegó mi turno en la fila de Berberían, Bisley, que estaba a su lado, le pidió el rotulador pincel que estaba usando para hacer sus dedicatorias y el otro muy amablemente se lo prestó. Entonces se sacó del bolsillo de la chaqueta una cajita de acuarelas y siguió dibujando con ellas.

Siempre me ha gustado esta portada. Desde hace muchos años tengo el libro en el que apareció por lo que puedo decirte de quien es el autor. Se llama José Triay Cuenca. El libro es un recopilatorio de historias de Julio Verne, y la ilustración está basada en una de esas historias: El Pueblo Aereo. Espero haberte sido útil. Un saludo y felicidades por tan magnífica pieza y colección.
