Wow! I just love this page by Graham "Ghastly" Ingels. I appreciate everything about the art--the overly dramatic scene, the sheer intensity on the characters' faces, the thick rich blacks of the inking. It's classic storytelling but with a horror bent to it. Stunning pick-up, congrats!

Yikes! What an jawdropping splash page for Savage Dragon by Jason Pearson! The silhouette of Dragon is totally appropriate as he's mourning the death of his girlfriend by one of his enemies. The fact that one muscular arm is still in the light suggests to me that he intends to use that arm to wreak vengeance on whoever killed her. Very powerful page! Great pick-up, congrats!

Another jawdropping addition to your Dave McKean collection. It's always such a pleasure to return to your site and peruse the marvelous pieces you display. This one is particularly striking to me for the way it seems to capture the essence of Japanese culture. The Geisha's face, the flowers, the colors of the painting itself, all seem to me as Japanese in feeling. Stunning pick-up, congrats!

I think George Perez''s Wonder Woman may be my favorite Wonder Woman. George had a way of drawiing Diana that I found very appealng. I also loved the way he included so many characters from her past in his time on the book, a number of which he includes here, No one could arrange so many characters on a page so effortlessly as George. I agree with you. I'm a big Jim Aparo Batman fan, have been since I was a kid. To me, Jim's Batman just looked right. He was slimmer, taller and more athletic than previous artists' Batmans. Jim Aparo was amazing as a penciller and terrific at compostion as well. Love this page, what great example of Jim's artistic mastery.
