House of Mouse was such a good show. I don't know why it's not held up as one of the best of the era.

I love that he took the time to add the textures on the clothes. From some of the other commissions from this batch he wasn't going that far. This was one of the best from that list.
Dave does not disappoint when he does a piece! The textures on the hat alone are stunning.

I didn't realize it got featured on the show! I didn't even realize there was a show, just saw there was a sketch opportunity with some talented people for a great price. I will DEFINITELY do it again when it comes up.

I know, right? There were two pages with the Hatter spotlighted but one was a Batman half-splash and other....I don't know why it was $800. Too rich for my blood, but this page fits the bill.

They're trickling in slowly--but surely! There just isn't a lot of Hatter art still out there are reasonable prices, and I'm afraid to start ordering a ton of commissions and spending that money. This fit perfectly, and my wife was the one who pointed it out to me!

For what seems to be a simple picture, she put a lot of details into it. the steam, the pattern in the cup, the cufflinks, the blood...

I like that splash! And it was in my price range, but just barely. Trying to keep expenses down, but this was perfect.
I think I've lucked out and gotten maybe 4 pages or so that have nice collections of villains on them. This one's really, really nice.
