Fully agree. I knew out of all my collection I needed one form this issue. My main goal is one from each timeline srtist, but that's a pipe dream. This issue made me want to be a comic book artist.
Issue 117 The Winds of Aka-Gaar is my other favorite. I want a page from that one but I can't find even a sniff of those pages hahaha
thanks. ALwyas fun to tlak with another fan from back in the day. ![]() I know I've seen a few of those pages over the years. The fronstpiece with the giant scorpion I think was on Ebay in the last 2-4 years. I definitely saw it at auction. I'm a big fan of Kwapisz art on SSOC. Luckily his art is generally affordable. |

The Savage Sword of Conan #176 Owner: brett bean Comment posted on 1/26/2025 Probably the best single story in SSOC. It's the one I remember the most from back in the day. Along with the Valley of the Howling Shadows that ran through a number of issues. |

Battlestar Galactica Cylon Mark III by Walt Simonson Owner: Kenneth Gagnon Comment posted on 1/10/2016 Issue #16 was my favorite issue as well. Overall the Marvel BG series wasn't that great but this was definitely a great issue and one of the highlights of comic youth. |

G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #38 Page 16 Owner: Andrew Buzzetta Comment posted on 12/3/2014 This page also came up for sale I think about a year ago. I own a few earlier pages and this is one of my favorite issues. I wish it wasn't yellowing so much or I would have bid. It would interesting if you could peel off the bottom panel to see what the original artwork looked like. |
