What is Scarlett holding onto? The window is closed. Lady Jaye makes sense. Scarlett's position doesn't. She's easily holding one with one hand by her finger tips and Lady Jaye is being blown away. Otherwise a decent cover. Put Scarlett inside and get rid of whoever those other two are. Perfect cover.
I know I've seen a few of those pages over the years. The fronstpiece with the giant scorpion I think was on Ebay in the last 2-4 years. I definitely saw it at auction. I'm a big fan of Kwapisz art on SSOC. Luckily his art is generally affordable.
Probably the best single story in SSOC. It's the one I remember the most from back in the day. Along with the Valley of the Howling Shadows that ran through a number of issues.
This would of been a great cover. Nice depiction of Clutch and Covergirl.

This is a great piece. I remember seeing this magazine as a kid and then hunting it down as an adult not remembering the name of it.

Issue #16 was my favorite issue as well. Overall the Marvel BG series wasn't that great but this was definitely a great issue and one of the highlights of comic youth.
This page also came up for sale I think about a year ago. I own a few earlier pages and this is one of my favorite issues. I wish it wasn't yellowing so much or I would have bid. It would interesting if you could peel off the bottom panel to see what the original artwork looked like.
