Andrew, in the 1960's, Marvel and DC had ad's in the bottom 1/3 of some pages in their books. Originals were drawn on pages trimmed to 2/3 size to accommodate the ad's at the bottom.
I completely agree with you. I know that most people prefer Tom Palmer's inking over Big John, but for me, George Klein was THE Big John inker.
I've done that too. In fact, I'm about to do it again for Nick Pascale.
