Thanks Mike. You are right it is pencil shading with ink lines. Also some red inks in there as well (although it is hard to see in the scan.
My wife is a big Agatha Christie/H. Poirot fan. I contacted Nike about doing a commission featuring Poirot and possibly the Orientt Express. We batted some ideas back and forth and this is what he came up with!!
